Description: Learn about the Feasibility of Solar for your Home, Place of Business or Sustainable Farm given Upstate New York climate & regulatory conditions. Presentation will be given by Bill Jordan, of "Let's Share the Sun Foundation" which helps facilitate the use of solar energy in poor communities around the world (www.letssharethesun.org) and of Albany-based solar referral company Jordan Energy (www.jordanenergy.org).


 

Event Title:  Summer Solstice Nature Walk and Picnic in memory of Christine Sevilla

Date:  Sunday, June 20, 2010

Time:  Walk, 3-5 pm.  Picnic, 5-9 pm.

Cost:  Suggested donation of $35 per person or $50 per couple will help to fund the Christine Sevilla Memorial Project an effort to preserve and interpret endangered acres of local wetlands.

Age Group:  All ages.

Location:  Walk, Powder Mills Park.  Picnic at the home of Nora Bredes and Jack Huttner 16 Great Oak Lane Pittsford, NY 5-9 pm.
